Korryn & Scott – Coolibah Downs Wedding

Proposal: Scott asked me to take a few days off as he had planned a mini holiday to a surprise destination. As our work schedules were so hectic and Scott working away, this was the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time together. At the airport I finally knew our surprise destination – the beautiful Port Douglas. And the surprises just kept on coming; we stayed at a private beachfront villa, everything was amazing – One night after a romantic candle lit dinner, we went for a walk along the beach, the night was so perfect stars were shining and the moonlight reflected over the ocean. In the moment Scott took my hands and then he got on one knee and asked me to marry him!

How we met: We meet 4 years ago working together at a Hotel. I was the Wedding Coordinator and Scott was a chef! Our work colleagues tried to set us up for a good couple of months, until eventually Scottie took the courage to ask me out on a date. From then on we have been inseparable!

Reception: Our Reception was held at Coolibah Downs Estate in the Grand Marquee. The Marquee had elegant hanging chandeliers as well as built in atmosphere lighting – just perfect for our style of wedding.
