Wedding Reception: Our reception was held at Coolibah Downs as a stand up Cocktail event. We had the best time, everyone enjoyed themselves and the food was beautiful. They also arranged all of the decorations, fairy lights for the Marquee and wishing well.

Wedding Flowers:  All the beautiful flowers were by Kyla from Divine Wedding Flowers. Kyla was friendly and very helpful and I loved my flowers.

Wedding Hair and Makeup: by Allure Professional Hair and Make-up. Julie did an amazing job, I was so happy with the way I looked and she is a lot of fun too.

Wedding Transport:  Corporate Limo’s for the ceremony and bridal party and Hummer Limos for reception to drop off friends and family after the big day.

Wedding Photography: The best memories of the day was our wedding photos, Brad and Kara captured the most amazing scenes on the beach at Hastings Point NSW, where we took a 50min drive from Miami Headland to capture a beautiful day on both the beach and on the grassy hill.

Honeymoon: Hamilton Island- Beach Club resort.  Amazing.

Advice:  Do exactly what you want. You will love it in the end.

Photographic Art: Gold Coast Wedding Photography

Proposal: It happened at our home on the weekend of our 4 year anniversary. Richy had written a book with chapters of major events in our life together and gave it to me to read. When I got to the second half of the book the pages were glued together and he had then cut out a small square where the ring was sitting flat. So I turned the page and there it was!

Wedding Ceremony: Our Ceremony was held at Coolibah downs Chapel. Originally we wanted an outdoor wedding but we didn’t want to have to worry about the weather on the day. As soon as we saw Coolibah Downs beautiful chapel we knew we had found our venue as it had a real outdoor/ garden feel to it. The glass window backdrop with the lake and fountain made it perfect.

Wedding Celebrant: We chose Rosemary Logan because we felt immediately comfortable upon first meeting her. She was great at helping us choose our vows. She was so helpful and organized on the day, and kept the ceremony relaxed and humorous so we all felt at ease.

Wedding Reception: Our reception was also held at Coolibah downs. It was a beautiful marquee venue and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. They provided an affordable package, fantastic décor, a great DJ, and a helpful wedding planner. Our guests still talk about how delicious the food was and the friendly waiters and bar staff.

Wedding Flowers:  Our beautiful bouquets were lovingly designed and arranged by Richys Aunty, Janece Chant, as our wedding gift from their family.

Wedding Cake: From the Cheesecake Shop in Southport. Chocolate and caramel mud cake with white chocolate ganache icing. We provided the ribbon and the brooch and Suzie did a great job decorating it. It was very affordable compared to other cake designers and everyone raved about how delicious it was.

Wedding Dress:  My beautiful dress was made by Gold Coast dress designer, Helena Couture Designs. After trying on many dresses in Brisbane and coming home disappointed, I decided to consider getting my dress made. Helena was recommended to me by my future sister in law, and I’m so glad she was as she did a fantastic job.  The design we came up with really flattered my body shape and I felt so beautiful and elegant. Helena also managed to incorporate the delicate lace from my mother’s veil as detail on my dress, and also created the perfect headpiece which was a great feature on the day.

Wedding Hair and Makeup:  I first met Gold oast makeup artist Kate Mckenna when was a bridesmaid in another wedding. She was so friendly and talented, and I was so impressed with her that she was the first person I thought of to do my own wedding. I was so pleased with both my hair and makeup on the day. As someone who doesn’t usually wear much makeup, my makeup felt light and natural and my bridesmaids looked great too!

Wedding Transport: We found the kombi van online, The Dub Driver. We saw it and fell in love. It was perfect for our day and it was great to be able to travel with all of my bridesmaids and parents in the one vehicle. It made it a fun trip to the chapel which helped to keep the nerves at bay! The kombi was also a great feature in our photos.

Wedding Photography: Brad and Kara from Photographic Art were so great. We had met with a couple of other wedding photographers before them, but as soon as we met Kara and Brad we knew they were the ones we would choose. Having both of them taking photos on the day gave us a great variety of shots and angles to choose from for our wedding album. They were so fun to work with and great at directing our large bridal party. Thanks to them we have some truly amazing shots to remember our day.

A match made in an oil drilling company! This is where Kaicee and David both work and met. This is a story of a romance at it’s best.

Dave had been planning the big proposal for months, he designed the ring himself from pink diamond stones inherited from Dave’s late grandfather. Daves wedding band was also his late grandmothers wedding ring, melted down into a layer of yellow gold within his three toned wedding band & both manufactured by a Monili Jewelers in Dubai.

He plans a quick get away to Fiji, on a private beach, dinner, french champagne & serenading love songs, he gets down on one knee to pop the big question, Kaicee, of course says yes!

So the planning begins, to have the most magical wedding day at Sirromet Winery.

The couple begin their day at The Stamford Plaza in Brisbane.

Kaicees bridal gown was was from Bridal on James and for the bridesmaids, Kaicee purchased the raw silk fabric and asked the girls to design their own dresses. The results were amazing. Makeup by Miranda Emblem Makeup Artistry and Hair by Julie Griffiths.

Dave and the boys suit were tailor made in Beijing by the Wonderful Tailor Shop and were given as gifts from the groom and the ties were from Aya Kawa.

Kaicee and her father arrived to the ceremony at Sirromets Laguna in a 1950′s Jaguar provided by Kenz Classics. Rose petals were lining the long walk down the Isle to a personal live rendition of Celine Dions Because You Loved Me, and officiated by family friend and Brisbane Wedding Celebrant Jen Belither.

Their amazing Wedding Photos were taken around the grounds of the vineyard, as we worked together with our favourite cinematographer Geoff from Motion Art. We had the most beautiful sunset that shone through the rustic Australian bushland.

Sirromet is a beautiful venue, so many wedding photo opportunities, we love the barrel room, which is where Kaicee & Dave’s wedding reception was held. The theme can only be described as Alice In Wonderland’s enchanted forest, the most beautifully decorated reception I have ever seen, it honestly took my breath away, when I walked in and saw and smelled the aroma of a room full of flowers by Julie Vine.

The guests were also treated to a Candy Buffet and  Photo Booth while one man band Tuffy, entertained the guests, long into the night.

And to finish their amazing story, the honeymoon is a bar setter, hiking the Andes of Peru, cruising through the Amazon, exploring the mountains of Ecuador and diving with wild sea lions and penguins on the Galapagos OMG!!

Congratulations guys, you are a fabulous couple and you have spoiled yourselves rotten and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with you.

Kylee and Mark’s wedding weekend, was at the unique mountain venue Peppers Ruffles Retreat and Spa. They had exclusive access to the retreat for their intimate wedding celebrations and we were honoured to be a apart of their special day.

Mark and his son Callum got ready together and I just love the photos of dad showing him how to do up his tie. It was perfect and they had a great time together during their preparations.

They had arranged some really great details, with personalised wedding cuff links and socks and the button holes had a beautiful peacock feather in the centre, which was a very unique touch.

Kylee looked absolutely stunning. The best thing about Kylee is her gorgeous happy personality, always smiling, even though a little nervous, she was so excited to be marrying her favourite person. Kylees Hair and Makeup was by Gold Coast Hair and Makeup Artist Donna Sullivan

The ceremony was over looking the Gold Coast Hinterland, with breathtaking views and officiated by our favourite Gold Coast Celebrant Clarah Luxford, always a pleasure working with her. It was an emotional ceremony, shared by the closest friends and family.

Kylee and Mark spent some time mingling with their guests, while we photographed some family photos, then afterwards, captured their wedding photos around the grounds of Ruffles and Willow Vale valley.

The resident Alpacas were incredibly curious and definitely wanted to be in the wedding photos or at least munch on Kylee’s flowers, they were pretty funny, following us around giving us the evil eye, under those very glamorous lashes lol.

Kylee and Mark partied the night away,in five star style with award winning food and wines, that Ruffles Retreat are renowned for.

Rain, Rain and more heavier rain, was the forecast for Kara and Jame’s wedding day and the weather bureau got it right! The rain never stopped and in all the time we have been photographing weddings, this has only ever happened once before. We have had rainy days, yes, but stops, just at the right times, but no, not this day… thanks to Mother Nature being total cow.

We started the day with drizzle, when we arrive at Raddison Resort to photograph the boys, all in good spirits. The boys all looking very special with suits by Strictly Mobile Suit Hire

Kara got ready at home and the rain was slight by this time, but girls were oblivious and enjoying their morning. They were all stunning, with girls rose chiffon dresses by Casar Elegance Brisbane and Kara’s gown by Gowns of Elegance and veil by Elizabeth De varga

Qi Hairstyling by Lincoln Smith and Makeup by our favourite team of girls from Allure Professional Hair and Makeup

Karas garter was handmade by her grandmother, which was a sentimental touch and Kara gorgeous shoes by Alan Pinkus.

Hitomi from B Sweet Flowers does the most beautiful creative floristry, a true love for her art and the flowers always come so beautifully packaged. Another favourite of ours.

Kara arrived to the ceremony at Coolibah Downs Chapel in a 1950′s Jaguar provided by Kens Classic and by this time it was pouring rain! Kara’s MC and a few amazing male guests all lined the path with umbrellas, so the girls didn’t get wet.

We had planned to go to Tamborine Mountain for the wedding photos, but that plan had to be changed. We went to The Glades, where the wedding reception was held and took all the photos undercover. Kara and james had such amazing attitudes about the rain, even getting under the umbrellas for the photos we wanted. They never complained once and they still thoroughly enjoyed their day.

The rain only challenged us more, which we love, and along with Videographer Robert Bale from RPB Productions, the media pressed on to create an amazing capture of Kara and James’s rainy wedding day.

It was a beautiful Autumn day, celebrated with their family & friends. Kerry and Daniel were married at the gorgeous little stone chapel of Coolibah Downs in Mt Nathan and officiated by NSW Celebrant and family friend Beryl Bowen.

We started the morning with a slightly nervous groom, but not for long, with his mates around, he didn’t have much cause for nerves. The boys all had fun getting their wedding photos taken and they ended up being complete posers Boys dressed by Spurling Formal Wear

Kerry was also a lot nervous, but she managed to enjoy her morning, getting ready in the Coolibah Downs homestead. Kerry wore a Gown by Brides of Brisbane and the bouquets were by Banora Flower Shop.

The girls all looked stunning and ready for the chapel, with Hair and Makeup by Mobile Makeover.

We shot their gorgeous wedding photos around the beautiful grounds of Coolibah Downs lake the gazebo and in the chapel, after dark.

Kerry and Daniel thoroughly enjoyed their day and so did we, a wonderful couple who we wish the best future together.

Kristies morning was slightly stressful, when she had to change rooms and we found her sitting in a golf buggy holding her gown. With a mini grin for a photo, Kristie was quickly whipped off to her new room to finally put on her gown, by Aires and Graces. Flowers were supplied by Style on Q, one of favourites florists.

We met Dan in the foyer of The Hyatt, around the bar, but no drinking Dans family was with him, all having a laugh at Nanna, a very funny lady, but I can’t tell you what they were talking about, it censored :-0 Dans suit was by Roger David and I must say, he looked pretty good in it and totally ready to marry his favourite girl.

Their wedding ceremony was in the gorgeous Hyatt Chapel by Gold Coast celebrant Michele Provest and afterwards, the newlyweds released balloons into the sky to remember those who couldn’t be with them.

The wedding photography was all taken around the beautiful grounds of the Hyatt lagoon. We popped champagne and had a great time with their photos, they were a fabulous couple to work with, so happy.

The reception was an intimate affair in a private function restaurant, where they celebrated the night away. The wedding cake was by Taya from Deliciously Decadent and Kristie and Dan made their own bomboniere cookies resembling Paul Stanley from Kiss and Dorothy, from a Wizard of Oz. They say that opposites attract and this is defiantly the case with this gorgeous couple.

Belinda & Chris’s wedding was in the country town of Toowoomba in Queensland. We had never shot wedding photos in Toowoomba before and I must say how pretty it is, beautiful big parks with giant trees and driving through the streets, you realise the locals are very proud of their town.

The inspiration for their wedding theme was their cute little polka dotted tea set from Stone Age Ceramics and Polka Dot Bride online helped them with ideas. The theme was beautifully done and subtely added throughout the details.

We started the day with Chris and his parents and gorgeous aunties and Chris & Belindas two busy little boys, who had the job of page boys. Very cute & did I say very busy. Their little wedding suits, braces, shirts and shoes were by Myer, 3 Little Monkeys and Formal Kids and Bridal.

Chris’s suit was by Spurling Formalwear Toowoomba and polka dot wedding ring by Central Jewellers Toowoomba.

Belinda and the girls got ready at the gorgeous historic Vacy Hall Guest House, what a place, antiques everywhere in this beautiful old Queenslander in a romantic garden setting. Belindas Satin polka dot 50s inspired ball gown by Henry Roth, was from Andreas Brides and Grooms Kippa Ring who also supplied Chris & Belindas two gorgeous daughters their wedding dresses by Flower Girl Fairy.

Belinda’s wedding accesories, Headband Tiara and Bracelet was by Tiara-O-Rama, Online, and Shoes and Clutch Bag was by Suna
Belindas brooche is a family airloom, which amazngly, has the whole lordsprayer engraved on it. You need an magnifying glass to see it.

The wedding ceremony was held in the rose garden at Picnic Point and Pastor Ross Pethybridge from Dalby Presbyterian Church, conducted the formalities on the most beautiful day, over looking the valley.

Their wedding photography was taken at Picnic Park,Vacy Hall and Queens Park and we seemed to be chasing the sun all afternoon. We were inspired by the amazing scenery in Toowoomba and have captured some beautiful wedding photos, capturing the love on their special day.

The reception in the Panorama Room at Picnic point was decorated in abundance with red, black and white, lots of candles and with beautiful wedding flowers supplied by Blooming Gorgeous who also supplied the bridal flowers and bouquets.

They didn’t miss any details, with a yummy wedding cake by Wicked Nics, Romeo chocolate hearts by Darryl Lea for the bonboneire, live musician Andrew Kucks and Wedding Photo Booth by In the Booth.

What an amazing day we all had, we loved photographing this lovely couple and their gorgeous Toowoomba Wedding.
